Carbon window Film, unlike Renaissance Standard (Dyed Film), reflects heat away instead of absorbing it. This type of tint is called metalized/carbon because that’s how it’s made – tiny metallic particles are on the tint. This gives it a reflective or shiny look, plus protection against the sun’s most unwelcome side effects: scorching surfaces, damage from extended UV exposure, and AC that struggles to keep up. Vehicle owners who choose metalized tint prefer its reflective look and ability to reflect away heat.

Renaissance offers this film in a range of 5%/15%/20%/35%/50%-60% tint shades. This percentage refers to the amount of visible light transmission (VLT) that can pass through tinted windows.

Renaissance’s metalized tint has a micro-thin layer that starts with components like color-stable dye and powerful adhesive.
